We all have the capacity to create the best life we can. Most of us have been conditioned to believe that life happens (to us) and we can only change the things we put our minds to. The reality is that even if you don't feel you are intentionally making something happen with focused determination, it is still happening. Our subconscious works for us all the time. It knows our life plan and helps us to manifest things into happening even without a conscious decision being made on our part.
A perfect example of this happened in my life a few years ago when all 3 of my kids were under age 7. I had been getting upset for several months about how small my car was at the time. Whenever I would have to go somewhere, I would have all three kids crammed in car seats, in the back seat at the same time, with no spare room in between them. I could barely close the back doors! Most car rides would turn into slapping, yelling, and fighting sessions between the kids, due to lack of personal space they experienced.
I remember whining aloud several times about how I needed a bigger car! Nonetheless, my rational brain would kick in and say, “But this car is finally paid off!” I didn’t want to take on a new car note and had bad credit at the time, so I had no idea how I would get a new car.
It just so happened that one day I had a Dr.’s appt in the next town over. Normally I would drop off one child at school, then have the other two. Except on this day at their fathers work, it happened to be “Take your kids to work day”, so he took the younger two for the day.
When I left the Dr.’s office, I was very upset with the lack of answers I received from the doctor so much to the point that I had tears in my eyes as I left. With tears still active, I began driving and merging onto the 6 lane interstate; about 25' lay between me and the car in front of me when I glanced back to my left to see if I could merge. Four seconds later when I looked forward all the cars ahead of me had stopped. I slammed on my brakes, but it was too late. I hit the bumper of the car in front of me and he tapped the car in front of him, ugg! I was already upset with tears in my eyes and now an accident.
We all came out of the accident physically fine. And I was very grateful my kids were not with me. The other cars suffered minor damage, but ironically, mine was considered totaled. So even though my fears had prevented me from making a conscious effort of walking into a car dealership, I unconsciously was now forced to find a new car. I manifested it.
God knew my desire to have a bigger car and even though I did not possess the strength, resources and courage to make it happen on my own, God knew I needed it and forced it to take place. I was then blessed that within two weeks, someone actually came and purchased my “totaled” vehicle, so it was gone and I made money, surprise number one.
Then I walked into a dealership and was approved (even with my poor credit) for a certain amount of money to buy a car, surprise number two. On their lot, only 2 cars fell within my approved range and one of them was a 2 yr old, barely used rental minivan, perfect for 3 kids. It was newer than the car I had; my kids could lie down on the floor in the center and still not touch the back seat! So much room and it was a Chevy Uplander van on a Ford car lot, they wanted to get rid of it!
So I got what I needed and with ease. I may have started the manifesting by putting my desires out there via frustration, but God finished it far beyond my wildest dreams at that time. God intended no harm for me in that situation; I and the others walked away physically and financially fine.
This is one instance of many where if you put your intention out in the universe, let God know what you need, even if you don't have the strength to make it happen, God will make it happen for you.
God wants the best for us all. He works with us, not against us. You have to make your desires known though. Our lives are planned with goals to be met, but the wild card in all of it is free will. God is not a micro manager or helicopter parent. He trusts us to do what is right with full faith that he instilled in us the tools to get through this life and to make the best choices for ourselves and all humanity.
Free will gives us the ability to realize we do create our own life. We are not victims or puppets under his finger.
We are his children guided by a gentle hand. So, realizing you control your life and what gifts or challenges are brought to you is amazing. It's not ego and pride trying to control your life; it's you working with God to create your best life; a well rounded spirit.
We are here. We chose to be here. Make choices with the highest good intended and you will always be amazed at how God will meet you and take it beyond your wildest dreams.
Much Love and The Best Life Realized.
